Dr Genevieve Nelson, CEO   Genevieve is one of KTF’s founding directors and has been CEO since 2009. Genevieve holds a Doctorate in Cross-cultural and Educational Psychology from the Western Sydney University and is an expert in education in PNG. She also has a Bachelor Degree in Psychology (Honours). Genevieve is an Adjunct Research Fellow with the Australian Catholic University and has published extensively and presented at national and international conferences. Genevieve was the recipient of the 2016 Western Sydney University Chancellor’s Alumni Leadership Award and the Institute of Managers & Leaders 2017 NSW Not-for-Profit Leadership Excellence Award. Genevieve was also a finalist in the 2013 Young Australian of the Year Awards, 2012 Telstra Business Women’s Awards and named one of the top 100 Women of Influence by Westpac and Australian Financial Review. Genevieve has walked the Kokoda Track 20 times.

  Sam Kaima, Projects Coordinator   Sam Kaima is a graduate of KTF’s Archer Leadership Program (2015). He received his Bachelor of Science in 2016, majoring in the field of chemistry.   Julia Zhao, Finance Coordinator   Julia is a qualified accountant and the finance officer of KTF. She spent most of her career in professional accounting practice, commercial accounting and not-for-profit sector before joining KTF. Julia is passionate about social justice and international development. She is very inspired by the work being carried out by KTF along the Kokoda track and beyond and proud to be part of the KTF team in making a difference to the development of the PNG people. Julia is an accomplished photographer and can’t wait to take a trip to PNG this year to visit our programs.
