Tertiary Scholarships for Kokoda Students

KTF offers a range of scholarships to assist students from the Kokoda Track region to continue their studies at tertiary level. These include:

 

  • KTF Modawa Scholarship - supports up to 4 places to study the Diploma in Primary Teaching at the Modawa Institute of Higher Education in Popondetta.

  • KTF Sacred Heart Teachers Scholarship - supports up to 4 students undertaking their Diploma in Primary Teaching studies Sacred Heart Teachers College in Port Moresby

  • KTF Bisset Medal - provides scholarships for 2 young people to pursue tertiary studies and leadership pathways, including an exchange programme to Australia

  • KTF Carolyn Lister Memorial Scholarship - supports up to 5 female students to study a Certificate in Community Health Work at St Margaret’s Community Health Worker School in Popondetta

 

All scholarships are open only to students from the Kokoda corridor committed to careers that will benefit the people of the Kokoda region.
