More than 200 second-chance secondary students at Kokoda College can now access reliable, renewable energy with the launch of a solar mini-grid for the campus. Now in its fifteenth year, the Archer Leadership Development Program simultaneously graduated the 2024 Archer Leaders and ushered in the next cohort of final year tertiary students undertaking the program.

Round 2 of the Light 4 Learning (L4L) program which installs solar light and energy systems into communities attached to KTF’s education program was completed in May 2023. KTF recently sent in teams to complete in-depth interviews with program participants to evaluate the sustainability, effectiveness, impact, relevance, coherence and efficiency of the Light for Learning program.
