Young Leaders Gather for Inaugural Conference

Last weekend, forty members of KTF’s Archer Leaders Alumni gathered in Port Moresby for the inaugural Archer Leaders Conference. Milne Bay graduates another 82 Elementary Teachers

Last Friday, 82 new elementary teachers graduated at a ceremony in Alotau, Milne Bay Province. Australian NGO, KTF (Kokoda Track Foundation) was delighted to once again partner with the Milne Bay Provincial Department of Education and PNG Education Institute to train the cohort of elementary teachers for the remote, maritime Province.

669 more Elementary Teachers trained

Last week, Australian non-government organisation, Kokoda Track Foundation (KTF), and its partners from the PNG Education Institute and Southern Highlands Department of Education, celebrated the training of 669 elementary teachers at two closing ceremonies in the Province. Over the past 6 weeks, KTF, PNGEI and the Provincial DOE have co-delivered the final instalment of training required for the 669 trainees to complete their certificates of elementary teaching and become fully-fledged and certified teachers.

Australian NGO Keeping the Spirit of Kokoda Alive

Australian non-government organisation KTF will host the 15th Lt. Col. Ralph Honner Gala Dinner in Sydney on Friday 26 October 2018. The dinner commemorates the great sacrifices made by the Australian and Papua New Guinean soldiers and beloved ‘Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels’ during the battles of Kokoda in World War II, with special tribute to the leadership of Lt. Col. Ralph Honner, commander of the 39th Battalion.
